Trend’s customers such as Sunseeker, Fairline and Princess
have moved away from framed windows to directly bonded glass. Trend has responded
to this by developing a system for bonding curved stainless steel trims directly
onto the surface of the glass pane (typically the top edge). The glass is then
bonded into the boat in the normal way.
Customised glass shapes can be sent by email and downloaded
to the Company's advanced CNC diamond cutting machines, which automatically
optimise the number of shapes cut from a single annealed glass plate.
