Trend Marine Products is proud to announce the accreditation of its new facility for laminated glass products.
As part of Trend’s new product development cycle, they have been accredited with laminated glass certification BS EN 12600:002 and ISO 12543-1 : 1998. This further establishes Trend as the “full service supplier” for all marine glazing requirements and further enhances the product offering for Superyachts.
To achieve this accreditation, Trend has built a new manufacturing centre on its 12 acre site. The centre incorporates a positive pressure clean room where glass can be cleaned and assembled prior to being placed under vacuum and subjected to the cure cycle.
This latest expansion allows the Company to meet the continual demand for larger hull glazing. Pressure testing of products is also conducted in order to ensure conformance to ISO and RINA requirements
