Companionway Doors
As part of our marine door collection, Trend Marine offer a range of bespoke companionway doors to fit the particular profile of the boat’s console.
They can be glazed in glass or acrylic, depending on manufacturer’s preferences or RCD regulations, and are available with polished stainless steel frames, painted aluminium frames or even a frameless look.
Typically Trend companionway doors slide sideways on tracks to be neatly hidden when open, and look stylish when protecting the cabin from the elements. Special one-off solutions can be considered if the designer of the vessel prefers an alternative action on the door such as recessed into the floor, or fore-and-aft sliding, and even divided into multiple sections.
Together with options on handles and latches, Trend Marine can manufacture marine doors to match the style and trim on the vessel.
Pop-out Doors
Also known as pantograph doors, Trend Marine produce a series of bespoke pop-out marine doors to match the external profile of the vessel’s superstructure.
The special pantograph hinge system allows the door to provide ample access for passengers and crew into the cabin, while sitting close to the external structure, to maximise available space on the external gangway.
Available in manually operated as well as electrically driven options, Trend Marine’s doors are lightweight and can be manufactured in either GRP, aluminium or even carbon fibre skins. A convenient option is for electrical locking and manual opening.
A top hinged transom door solution is also widely available.
Shower Doors
Available in hinged or sliding options, Trend Marine’s shower doors offer a stylish addition and protection to your bathroom.
Flat, hinged or sliding doors can be produced in either tempered glass or acrylic (PPMA), while our sliding curved doors can be moulded in acrylic to a range of small radii to fit even the most compact bathroom.
Our shower doors are available in a frameless look with polished edges, or can be trimmed with painted aluminium or polished stainless steel edges to suit the design of your fittings, and can be fitted with a variety of knob and handle options.
Watertight Doors
Our selection of watertight doors provides a functional yet stylish barrier between watertight bulkheads.
Trend Marine’s lightweight Type 120-60 watertight door provides protection from the outside, while our heavier Type 120-61 watertight door is certified to provide sealing against water from both sides, even up to pressures of 5.5m.
Built and tested to exacting standards, and approved by DNV, our watertight doors can be fitted to the largest megayachts as well as RCD vessels.
