One of Europe’s Most Advanced Marine Glazing Facilities

Trend Marine operates one of Europe’s most advanced marine glazing manufacturing sites, uniting decades of specialist expertise with cutting-edge glass processing technology. Our Norfolk facility brings every major process under one roof – ensuring exceptional quality control, faster lead times and complete oversight from raw glass to finished systems.

Designed for innovation. Built for precision.

Why Our Capabilities Matter

Marine glazing demands flawless optics, structural integrity and perfect integration with vessel design. Trend Marine’s vertically integrated facility allows OEMs, custom builders and Superyacht yards to work with a single, trusted partner for complete glazing systems – reducing supplier complexity, increasing reliability and improving design coherence.

This breadth of capability is unique in the UK market and underpins our reputation as Europe’s leading marine glazing specialist.

1. Glass Processing & Engineering

Thermal Toughening

Precision thermal tempering ensures strength, durability and marine-grade safety. Our in-house furnaces process flat and curved panels with tight optical control for consistent repeatability.

Chemical Toughening

Ideal for high-clarity or complex geometry glazing, chemical toughening provides high strength with minimal optical distortion. Panels are laminated onsite for safety-rated constructions.

Large-Format Sag Bending

With one of Europe’s largest sag-bending furnaces, we create large-format, double-curved panels for Superyacht, architectural and specialist vehicle applications requiring premium optics.

Laminated & Monolithic Glass Production

Hydrophobic interlayers, exposed-edge options and lightweight constructions are produced to EN ISO 12543-1 standards in a controlled clean-room environment.

ThermIGU (Insulated Glass Unit) Manufacturing

We manufacture flat, curved and large-format IGUs, including sag-bent optical-quality units. Warm-edge spacers, acoustic performance and A60 fire-rated options are available for demanding marine environments

2. Precision Manufacturing & Finishing

CNC Cutting, Drilling & Edge Finishing

Advanced CNC machining delivers repeatable precision, flawless edge finishing and perfect interface accuracy – critical for high-performance marine glazing systems.

Stretch-Bend Metal Forming

Our custom stretch-bend forming machine shapes aluminium and stainless steel framing to match complex glazing geometries, ensuring seamless structural integration and premium finish quality.

3. Composite & System Integration

GRP & Carbon Fibre Component Production

In-house GRP and carbon-fibre manufacturing supports complete glazing assemblies, reducing supplier dependency and ensuring coherent design and finish across all components.

Facilities Overview

Trend Marine maintains complete control over every stage of the production process. Our facility includes:
